The Writers’ Hub - 17/18 September -
Buldeigh Salterton Literary Festival
Curated by Word Kitchen, the Festival is premiering a Writers’ Hub Marquee exclusively for local and South West writers. This is a new and exciting opportunity for local writers (Devon and beyond) to meet and mingle and engage in discussion with a variety of panel members including publishing industry representatives and authors.
The Writers’ Hub will be a space for writers to meet, write and network, attend bespoke sessions, and engage with South West literary organisations and groups. Each day will offer a facilitated writing time, at least two panel discussions, a writers’ circle, and a Happy Hour with special guests.
The mini-marquee (next to the main Festival marquee) will only be available to passholders - click here to obtain your pass. On each of the two days, the pass will give free access to all panel sessions, a reading area where writers can place copies of their own work for fellow writers to browse, breakfast writing sessions, time and space to network and chat, and - between 5 and 6pm - a Happy Hour with special guests, a free drink and nibbles. There will be an Open Mic on Thursday evening just across the road at Brook Kitchen (home to Word Kitchen’s Budleigh Open Mics.)
Our Next Open Mic will be in Budleigh Salterton at Brook Kitchen as part of the
